Never lose your value - Story with a perfect example

Once a professor walked into his class and told his students that today they are going to learn a lesson by one-dollar note. Students were confused but they were all eared to the professor. He then shoved his hand into his pocket and removed a note of one-dollar. Then he asked his students “What is the value of this note?”. All students replied in sync “One-dollar”. The professor then folded the note and then asked again “What is the value of this note now?”. The students were confused and replied “One-dollar”. He then crumpled up the paper and made it round and then asked the same question again. The students again replied “One-dollar”.

The professor then threw the note on the floor and stepped on the note crushing it hard, he then picked up and asked the same question. Amazed by his actions, students replied “One-dollar”. And lastly, he tore the note into two halves and asked “If I join this note by a tape, can I use it again and what will be it’s worth?”. Students were curious now and said, “Yes, one-dollar.”

The professor then cited if this one-dollar note after being crumpled, folded, crushed, and tearing apart remains a one-dollar note and doesn’t lose its worth, then why do you lose your worth when you encounter failure, or when someone mistreated or disregarded you. The dollar doesn’t lose its worth because someone once stated that no matter what happens to it, it will remain a dollar and will never lose its worth.

Moral - In life people will step on you, judge you, make you will degrade but remember you will never lose your worth on someone else’s opinion. If you a purpose and you believe in your worth, no one can make you feel inferior. Never lose your value, have a life, and live it with your pride.
