Obstacle leads to opportunity - Moral Story
Once there was a wealthy and mystifying king. He decided to place a huge boulder in the middle of the road. Then he hid behind a nearby tree to anticipate people’s behaviour after encountering the situation, whether they will move the gigantic rock or not.
After some time, the first people who came across the rock were king’s merchants and advisers. The king observed them, they just passed by the rock rather than moving it and blamed the King for not maintaining the road service. None of them tried to move the rock.
After a few moments, a peasant came along, his hand full of loads with vegetables. He saw a huge boulder in the middle of the road, he laid down his loads on the ground, and with all his efforts moved the boulder to the side of the road, finally after few attempts he succeeded. The peasant took his load and was ready to head off but he saw a bag lying in the road where the stone was placed and when he opened it, he saw the bag was full of gold coins with a note by the king. The note stated that this bag of gold was a reward for moving the boulder from the road.
The king showed him that every obstacle leads to a golden opportunity.
Moral- Don’t ignore the opportunities that come your way, even if it is difficult to give your best and face it boldly, who never know what’s concealed behind that obstacle. A moment of struggle can lead to a lifetime of opportunity.
