Change for yourself not for others - Story for you

This story is of a couple. They loved each other but as you know love doesn’t come easy. They had their differences which were not easy to cope up with. The girl was remarkable about everything while the boy was a careless and free spirit. They used to fight on cleaning rooms, usually, the girl used to get upset because of his drinking habits and not working on himself.

She constantly used to buzz him for this but he remained the same. After a point, the girl said she can’t do this anymore as she needs someone who can work on himself and have a career. The boy was disappointed and pleased her to not end the relationship but she needed a break.

After they separated, the boy started cleaning his room, working out, and improved himself to get back to her. One day he knocked at her door and when she opened it, he saw her with another guy. He was pissed off and said, “What is this all about”. The girl replied that she wanted to move on.

The guy continued "But I did everything you asked for, I’m not lazy anymore and I have started working out. I did this all for you.” And the girl said, “I never wanted you to do those things for me but you because you wanted to do."

This made the guy realized his worth and what he was missing. Often when we are engaged with people we start doing things for them, we forget what we want to do. This degrades our true worth not only within us but also in front of others. So, never change because someone told you to, never do things which others want you to do. If you think you are not doing right then change for yourself, don’t be a people seeker and try to reach out for them.

Moral - Be you and do things for yourself. No money can ever make you rich enough and no love can ever satisfy you unless you start for yourself.
