Even today, when I tell my father that I cannot do something for any reason whatsoever. He'd always refuse to listen to any excuse. He'd in return insist and make it compulsory for me to do it.
Later in life I realised that these were his efforts to make me learn how to see beyond the excuses that I gave myself. My dad fostered me to think that I am unstoppable. That there's nothing I cannot do. He made me a warrior against my fears, laziness or discomfort. Whatever made me stop, he made me believe that I was bigger than that.
So, we know there are inner voices and we know they aren't all good. So when fear is in the disguise of an excuse. Look beyond, look through, jump the hurdle and then keep moving forward. Because, "if not you, then who?"
