One must not fear death but should fear not living. Death is an unknown factor of life and being confronted by the thought of our demise can make us feel nervous.
People who do not fear death are the ones living a life. Because they have a practical perspective towards life. Such people know that death is a part of our being and is uncertain, so dwelling in the thoughts of mortality is already being dead while being alive. It does not mean that people who are not afraid of death are in hurry to die. They just don't want to spend their life on something that can't be changed.
